Volleyball Attire

What different teams wear when they play Volleyball varies considerably, depending on the country you live in, whether you are male or female, and the level of skill that your team has. For example, you don’t see male teams running around in short shorts that are made of spandex. There are a number of things that seem to be very consistent though. White socks are the most popular (although some teams wear black, but most rules dictate that the team must wear the same color socks). Shorts are worn, along with a shirt or a singlet. The style of shorts, singles and shirts vary a lot, as do the shoes that people wear. In general, the shoes worn by top level players are specifically designed for Volleyball. The most common brands of shoes are Asics Volleyball Shoes and Mizuno Volleyball Shoes.

However, for Volleyball Attire that is less competitive, you will get away with wearing different types of shoes, different colored socks and even uniforms that are slightly different. Some Volleyball Attire includes socks that are very tall, which is just a fashion statement – it serves no real purpose. Most players also wear ankle braces and knee pads, to minimize the damage that can be done when they dive or stop suddenly on their ankles.

Volleyball Attire gets much stricter as you move up the skill level, and you won’t even be allowed to play above state level if you don’t look professional. The great thing about Volleyball Attire is that it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Compared to other sports, where you have to buy pads and other equipment, Volleyball is quite cheap. Volleyball Attire is designed to be light weight and for you to easily move about, as this is a major part of playing Volleyball. The best Attire is that which breathes well and that can stretch a little bit!
